Tabs, Screens, and Dialog Boxes
This program is divided into six main tabs: Project, Geometry, Model, Loads/Analysis, Design and Rating. Selecting a tab allows you to open various program dialog boxes and define, analyze or rate portions of the structure. Select the appropriate tab to make changes or complete an analysis. Note that when you are working on a project, this program adds a green check mark to tab once you have entered information.
Project | Allows you to enter general information about the project and select the design specifications, units, analysis, and loss type. |
Geometry | Allows you to create, modify, or delete portions of the project, including the bridge alignment, layout, piers, and cross sections. |
Model | Allows you create an analytical model of bridge frames using plane frame geometry. |
Loads/Analysis | Allows you specify group combinations (LFD) or limit states (LRFD) to be used for the three analysis/design cases: Initial and Final. |
Design | Allows you to check the design results after running an analysis. |
Rating | Allows you to perform a bridge rating evaluation. |
